Donald Rumsfeld (yes THE SAME DONALD RUMSFELD!) and friends basically prevented Helms from being questioned under oath, not, as they state, because they were trying to protect American Intelligence, but because they were trying to (and still are) hide the extent of Nazi War Criminals in the Agencies -and State Dept., and 3rd and 4th Reich involvement in the policy making aspects of the U.S. Intelligence Community, and American Right-Wing Political governance.
"On May 9 1975, the Church Committee decided to call acting CIA director William Colby. That same day Ford's top advisers (Henry Kissinger, Donald Rumsfeld, Philip W. Buchen, and John Marsh) drafted a recommendation that Colby be authorized to brief only rather than testify, and that he would be told to discuss only the general subject, with details of specific covert actions to be avoided except for realistic hypotheticals. But the Church Committee had full authority to call a hearing and require Colby's testimony. Ford and his top advisers met with Colby to prepare him for the hearing.[6] Colby testified, "These last two months have placed American intelligence in danger. The almost hysterical excitement surrounding any news story mentioning CIA or referring even to a perfectly legitimate activity of CIA has raised a question whether secret intelligence operations can be conducted by the United States."[7] The Ford administration, particularly Rumsfeld, was concerned about the effort by members of the Church Committee in the Senate and the Pike Committee in the House to curtail the power of U.S. intelligence agencies. Frontline quoted U.S. diplomat and Nixon assistant Robert Ellsworth, who stated: "They were very specific about their effort to destroy American intelligence [capabilities]. It was Senator Church who said our intelligence agencies were 'rogue elephants.' They were supposedly out there assassinating people and playing dirty tricks and so forth... Because the pertinent MKUltra and Project Bluebird and Project Artichoke files have been destroyed what little we have left is Richard Helm's "story" about what was destroyed and why. The official tale is "7 Boxes" of records were destroyed. Considering the Public Record confirms 149 SEPARATE PROJECTS IN MKULTRA ALONE, WHICH HELMS SAYS "went on for many years" IT BEGS THE QUESTION ABOUT WHY SO FEW RECORDS HAD BEEN KEPT. I STILL HAVE OFFICIAL HARDCOPY HAND DELIVERED TO ME BY MY CIA HANDLERS IN 1973 BURIED IN A WILDERNESS AREA SOMEWHERE LISTING MORE THAN 240 MKULTRA SUBPROJECTS AND EVEN THAT LIST IS INCOMPLETE. COMBINED WITH THE DOCUMENTATION FROM ARTICHOKE AND BLUEBIRD AND THE 2, 000 PAGES JIM MARRS OBTAINED FOR "IN SEARCH OF THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE", IT'S OBVIOUS HELMS AND RUMSFELD AND THE WHOLE NAZI LOVING CABAL IS LYING!!!
THE FACT THAT WHEN YOU READ THE PERTINENT PART OF THE ACTUAL 'INTERVIEW' BELOW, YOU WILL REALIZE THAT PART OF THE QUESTION ABOUT THE BOXES HAS BEEN DELETED, BECAUSE THE GRAMMAR AND SYNTAX RIGHT BEFORE MENTION OF A 'BOOKLET' SHOWS THAT SOME WORDS ARE MISSING !!! The commission said it is clearly illegal to test potentially dangerous drugs on unsuspecting US citizens.

There is virtually no drug-related MK-ULTRA material in the files, we gather? In terms of destruction of those files, the seven boxes of progress reports that I think you had recalled from the Archives and destroyed on 31 January, was a booklet called "LSD 25, Some Unpsychedelic Implications." Why did you decide to do that?
"It was a conscious decision that there were a whole series of things that involved Americans who had helped us with the various aspects of this testing, with whom we had had a fiduciary relationship and whose participation we had agreed to keep secret. Since this was a time when both I and the fellow who had been in charge of the program were going to retire there was no reason to have the stuff around anymore. We kept faith with the people who had helped us and I see nothing wrong with that."
In principle, do you think there is ever an occasion when somebody has a right to lie in the national interest?
"I don't recall specific episodes, but it seems to me that if one goes through history there are examples of it and that it has been upheld by public opinion at the time. I don't encourage lying. I have never been confronted with this problem. I testified many years before various Congressional committees cleared to hear my testimony."
MK Ultra was never stopped. It is still going on. Of course, documents that took decades of horrific torture to obtain were never destroyed.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was five years old, I had a swastika etched on my left arm. I thought: I am a marked person; I am doomed. My mother often lied to me, without my asking, stating that I had the mark because I had pulled away during a vaccination. A swastika consists of six straight lines at right angles to each other. A vaccination mark is a dot. A mark from pulling away would be a small squiggle. I believe that a lot of people are still making a lot of money by using me as an experimental slave in Canada. I cannot report this ongoing horror.
They have sedated me, carried out surgical operations on my ears, changing the shape of my earlobes many times. They do many, many other horrors. If I cannot obtain asylum, I will probbly end my life.
